Old Paphos in 2021 - Part 2
Bins Galore

Alex just informed me that the store is called Spontas Cookshop. Their target market is the catering industry, apparently.

Public Conveniences!

Our route returned to the main road, and we walked straight across. There is an alley there that threads around the outside of the Covered Market. I couldn't help but notice that nestled in the alley was this Public Toilet.
Back To The Front

The alley emerges here. You will remember this location from the first part of the tour. At this point I started to panic a bit. I realised that I had forgotten to buy a parking ticket when I parked the car down below. I remembered this because a traffic warden walked past me.
Back To The Carpark

With that in mind, I jogged across the road and down this embankment. I recovered the car ticket-free and went and picked up my passenger.
Handy Map

This is a map of today's route. In the next part of the tour of Old Paphos, we shall start from the same location, and explore the area to the right of the Old Town Road. Stay tuned...

We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
