Old Pafos in 2019 - Part 2
Towards the Bus Stop

Go through this alley, and you will be at the main bus stop.

Bus Stop View

If you get the bus up from Kato Paphos, it will probably drop you off here. It is easy enough to walk here, but in the heat, nobody is going to bat an eyelid if you take the bus or a cab instead.
Nero View

In Part One of the blog, we showed a view from Caffe Nero over the Turkish Baths. This is the same view in reverse. Hopefully the photographs are beginning to merge into a cohesive whole now. It is very easy to get lost while exploring Old Town, but that is a big part of its charm. If you familiarise yourself with some of the major roads, you will not be lost for long. And don't worry, when you get lost, you find new stuff you didn't know about before. Every time I visit Old Town, I seem to find something new.
Heading To Ibrahim's Khan

We have now walked past the restaurants by the bus stop, and turned left back into the centre of Old Pafos.
Spot The Art

Here's a nice mix of old and new, with some murals and random artwork thrown in for good measure. On the right, we have some graffiti art on the wall. To the right of that, out of picture, is one of the cementography pieces. Another piece can be seen on the left, underneath the sunshade. The perfect place to sit down and enjoy a coffee and ice cream.
Once you have had your fill. turn right here, and take the first left.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
