Cyprus in Pictures - March 2023
Back To The Sea Front

I am not sure what is going to happen at the Sea Front, but they still have some railings up. This digger was busy doing something. According to a conversation I had with somebody from one of the restaurants, there is going to be something for pedestrians along here, possibly with a roof.

SODAP Beach Again

When they were making this cafe, people moaned that it took away all the beach. As you can see, it doesn't. The beach is still there, and still popular.
Androlikou Delights

I wanted to fly my drone around Androlikou Quarry, but it was too windy, so I took some pictures instead. The place is very beautiful, but ignored by most.
Making Waves

A colourful shot of the Municipal Baths end of the Sea Front. It's great for snorkelling here.
Rocky View

Towards the end of the month we had a spectacular storm. This was taken before that, and I didn't include any storm pictures in the Kalimera slot as there were plenty of them floating about already. I liked this shot because the tide was unusually low so there were more rocks visible than usual.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
