Last Castle (Viklari) Review
Yum Yum

And the good news is, it tastes as good as it looks here.

You Will Not Be Alone

We had booked a table, so knew we would be catered for. We have turned up in the past though only to be turned away, because they were fully booked. The place is very popular, so you are well advised to call first. Their number is 26 991088.
To Business

We ordered three portions of mixed souvla. It is served with fresh salad and huge, chunky chips.
What To Expect

Like most Cypriot restaurants, you won't get a huge variety of sauces to go with your meal. They tend to rely on salt and lemon juice for their main condiments, and once you get used to that, you will find it works really well. Most restaurants will also offer olive oil and vinegar too. And mayonnaise was provided at Last Castle, but you shouldn't assume you will get that everywhere.
Enjoy The Scenery

Now, the problem with three people ordering the same thing is that I can't very well show you three photographs of the same plate of food. So instead I will concentrate on the views and the ambiance.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
