Freedom!
The route was pretty good. Very bumpy, but you expect that, but it was at least passable. There was one bit where I came to a junction and took the wrong fork, which was a bit challenging. The track ahead had turned into a quagmire at some point, and another route had spun off to the left. I didn't notice until it was too late, and headed down the wrong track. I could see a flat, grey area in front of me, which was just too flat to be natural, but I was in it before I could stop and reverse. So I just kept going as the thin dried layer of mud cracked open, and drove through it to the other side. The car was covered in mud, but luckily the hot weather had burned away enough of the muddy water to let me drive through it without getting stuck. I had no wish to dig the car out in this heat. No wish at all.
Nature is beautiful.

I love the water effect on these two shots.
Well done, Alex!

An old photograph, showing a young man standing on top of a broken Venetian Bridge got us excited recently. It looked a bit like Roudia, but the rock outcrop in the background seemed in the wrong place. There was only one way to find out for sure...Good Pages To Visit
