Fabrica Hill
Mysterious Caves
I noticed these two short caves, and was immediately impressed by the straightness of the walls and roof. How on Earth did the builders manage that with such basic building implements? It must have taken them ages.
Distant Mall
I wonder what lurks beneath that field?
Proper Caves
Now we come to some more caves, which were a bit more substantial, and didn't look man-made.
Going Underground
I was very impressed with these caves. They didn't smell of wee at all. They were, at least partly man-made though. Some of the walls were very regular.
What Is That?
This was a puzzle. Was that rock there for a purpose, or did the builders just leave it there because it was too big to shift?

A few weeks ago we blogged about Fabrica Hill. We went to find out about the new walkway, and to see what was on the hill. The blog was very popular, but left people chomping at the bit for more. Why didn't you feature the amphitheatre? Where will the walkway end? Why are there never any hedgehogs in your blogs? Most of these questions were asked. So the other day, we went back to find the answers. Not only that, but we also found that most elusive of creatures, an artist's impression of what the walkway will look like when it is complete. When relatives visited us a few weeks ago, we took them to some of the local tourist must-see sites. A definite highpoint was the visit to the Archaeological Park. We were especially lucky because it was spring time and all the wild flowers were in bloom...Paphos Caving
A few months ago we read a report in the papers about an interesting cave that lurked within Paphos itself, behind an old church. After a bit of investigation I found it, and did a bit of spelunking.Good Pages To Visit
