Droushia Rocks In Spring
Lovely Views
I have to say it was very windy when we visited, a few days ago. And also very cold. If you fancy a trip here, do wrap up warm.
Distant Chrysochou Bay
There are lots more rocky outcrops around here.
Snow-capped Mountains
In the far distance you can see snow on the Troodos Mountains. As I write this, there is likely to be a lot more there now. The weather has taken a turn for the colder, and we even had a flurry of snow in Polemi today!
Now remember I was talking about the shock I got on the way up here? Well, I was trying to find the Helmet on the way up, and saw something that was troubling.
False Alarm
I saw this rock, and thought that somebody had broken the helmet. It is actually a few yards away from it, but more visible from the road when I was looking. Now, you will recall at the start of the blog I showed you all that rubble. Well my first thought was that they had been doing some demolition work on the Helmet, for some unknown reason. So I was relieved to see it still intact.
So I am happy to report that Droushia Rocks are still all intact, and well worth a visit. Who knows, by tomorrow they may even be snow-capped?
