SODAP Beach Bar
The Antasia Beach Bar is a great place for a drink or a bite to eat if you want a nice view of the coast. There is also a viewing platform above it, giving you a lovely view of SODAP Beach and the sea front. If you come here at night you can see the restaurants illuminated and reflecting off the sea. It looks amazing.
Paphos Sea Front
And here is the Sea Front itself, looking very clean and tidy in this shot.
Venus Beach
Here's another of those sandy beaches that Paphos supposedly doesn't have. What's more, behind it you have the Tomb of the Kings, so you can explore those then come for a swim here afterwards to cool off. Do stick to swimming by the beach though, behind the safety of the artificial reef you can just see on the right of this picture. The coastline around here is notorious for riptides, and the reef has been put there to save lives.
Harbour Iceberg
I like this shot. The angles of the sails and boats give a perspective which pulls you towards the castle. This makes the ice berg - which I presume is actually some sort of floating climbing wall - look even more out of place.
Paphos Walkway
It might have been mid-September when I took this shot, but you would think that Summer was still in full swing. Even today, as I write this in early October, I look outside the window to see beckoning blue skies. I feel a trip to Geroskipou Beach is in order...

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
