Published 16th of February, 2026

Everybody seemed to enjoy themselves at the carnival. It lasted for nearly an hour and consisted of 24 floats, so there was plenty to see.

Float 24 has reached the end of the route, so the parade is over. All that remains is to give an award to the best costume.

Tired Kids

A lot of the younger children who had come to see the carnival were obviously quite tired by the end.

Of course, now the hard work began. All the bunting and confetti needs to be cleared up!

The carnival was very well organised. Designated parking areas had been provided and people from all over Paphos came to view the parade. This was especially apparent once the event had finished. The queues of traffic back to the city were very long. Fortunately for us, we were able to drive home via Peyia and Kathikas. Full marks to Cap St Georges and all the parade participants. You put on an amazing show.
