Around Agios Georgios
Carnival Is In The Air
Cap St George had a Carnival Parade on the 22nd February. I took these shots the day before, and you can see they already have the Carnival Bunting up. The main carnival in Paphos will be next Saturday at 3PM.
Dog Walkers Take Note
I did like the dog signs they had here, for people making use of the Coast Path. They get the message across but in a friendly fashion.
More Bunting
There is a beach by Cap St George. It is only a small one but it has still managed to earn the coveted Blue Flag. To get to it you need to go down this walkway. There won't always be bunting here to welcome you though.
Romance Opportunity
If you are with your loved one you can stop here for a romantic interlude.
Back In The Day...
Kafizis Beach has changed a lot over the last few years. Here is an old shot.
As a side-bar, take a look at Yeronisos Island in the background. You can see a couple of shades on the plateau. I think that was for an Archaeological dig.

Cap St Georges is a new commercial venture out near the Akamas. It was recently discussed on the Paphos Life forum, as people were concerned about the level of access to the beach area that non-residents would get. So we took our camera down to have a look. This is not a review of Cap St Georges, we didn't try any of the food or drink. This is more of a quick nose so you can see what the area is like.Good Pages To Visit
