Ammati Cave
Stalactites
Inside the cave is quite dark, but thanks to long exposure we can see what the rocks look like.
So that's the cave. One of the comments left on Google about the area stated that they smelled of wee. They didn't when I visited, and to be honest, it is a long way to come just to have a slash.
Back Out
Heading back out of the cave, the gorge looks a bit more impressive from this direction.
Overgrown
There is a surprising amount of trees and shrubs growing down here. This would suggest that when the waters come they aren't that powerful. A couple of years ago I blogged about Roudia Bridge after the winter rains. The area had been flooded, and huge trees had been uprooted. If this lot is still here, there couldn't have been much of a torrent running through here, could there?
