All Change At SODAP Beach

And next to the Amphora, Suite 48 is definitely open, which is nice because it is a lovely place. So what is happening?
Well, a follower of our site contacted us recently. They said they had had a drink in the bar at the Amphora and been told that it is closing for good in July. Whats more, it is being knocked down, and the hotel that is going up behind SODAP is also going to be there. Our own investigations have revealed that the hotel will be owned and managed by Kanika Hotels and Resorts. This is the same company who runs Alexander The Great, The Amavi and the Olympic Lagoon Resort.

So, rest assured that the hotel will be in good hands. The three hotels are among the most popular in Paphos, and Alexander The Great was voted the favourite in a recent Paphos Life Facebook poll.

We will keep you updated as to what is happening as and when we get more information. In the meantime, while I was flying the drone to take the pictures for the article, I also took some other shots. So let's admire the view.

The Hotel Strip stretches into the distance, towards Geroskipou Beach. I cannot fly the drone any further in that direction because of the proximity to the airport.

Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
