Buffet Restaurant
There a number of places to eat at Alexander The Great. As well as the Buffet area called Café Royal there are restaurants offering Italian, Greek and a pan-Asian experience. Where you eat depends on what package you have opted for. Whichever one you choose though, you will come here for your breakfast.
The Alexander the Great offers a unique dining package known as ‘half board plus’ this includes a bottle of water between 2 guests as well as a glass of wine/beer or soft drink with your evening meal. Depending on the length of your stay you will be able to visit the a la carte restaurants – for instance for a 7 night stay you can visit each of the 3 once in your stay. Please note that there is also a dress code in some of the restaurants so make sure you are suitably dressed for your reservation.
Buffet Breakfast
The breakfast buffet includes various egg cooking stations, such as eggs benedict, fried eggs and omelettes with a selection of fillings.
Outdoor Seating
The buffet area also extends outside, towards the pool. You can eat here should you choose to do so. Personally I would want to be as close to the buffet as possible!
Egg Whisperer
So let's go and take a look at what is on offer. The first food area that greets you is dedicated to eggs. This man will make you a lovely omelette should you so desire.

Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
