Lovely Anenome

It's funny, I would walk straight past something like this without giving it a second glance. But, I like to go snorkeling. The waters around Cyprus aren't as colourful as somewhere like, say Gran Canaria. If I saw something like this in the waters here I would be captivated by it.

Insect Frenzy

But even my unobservant eye spots this kind of activity.

Grasshopper

This grasshopper appears to have this thistle all to itself.

Some Final Views

This is a closer shot of Mavrokolympos Reservoir. I would imagine that today it is looking just a little bit more full.

The final shot is towards Koili. There is an interesting gorge there that warrants further exploration. One day we will get to it, but it isn't going anywhere.

This is what I love about exploring in Cyprus. Even if you take a wrong turn, there is always plenty to see. Thanks to Alex, I can show you some of the insects and flora that might otherwise have gone unnoticed.

The other week we drove through there just so we could explore the hills behind it. While passing through, we couldn't help but notice a striking cave, embedded high up a cliff face. We decided to investigate...

Clean Up Paphos!

Rubbish has long been an issue in the region of Paphos. While fly-tipping no longer occurs on every hillside corner, it is still a big problem. In the last few years however, a number of Green Points have been set up throughout Paphos. The only trouble is, very few people seem to know about them. So we decided to track them all down, and show you what to expect when you visit. If you want the rubbish situation in Paphos to improve, it is in your own interests to use these places. We appreciate that a tour of recycling points won't make scintilating viewing, so we took the scenic route to bring you some pictures of the countryside too...
