Tasty Pita
To accompany the grills were some love pitas. There was some debate as to who the second pita was for. Obviously the first was for our daughter's kebab. But the second? Well, my mixed grill had a souvlaki in it, and what is a souvlaki without pita? Am I right, brothers?
Sauces
Being a local's eatery, they don't do much in the way of condiments. Cypriots in the main seem to content themselves with lemon juice and salt. I like a bit of mayo on my salad though, and a dollop of chilli sauce also goes down well. If you like sauces, ask for them and they will appear.
Empty Plates
That speaks for itself. The food here is delicious.
Fruit Pud
Like most Cypriot joints, puddings don't really feature. You do however get presented with seasonal fruit, which is always delicious. I remember a few months ago when oranges were in season, the ones we got here were utterly delicious. Much nicer than I could buy in a supermarket. And we have had more exotic fruit as well. Today we had grapes.
Takeaway Service Available
Including 3 soft drinks and a large bottle of still water, the bill came to just over €40. You can't say fairer than that for 3 people. If you use the takeaway service, the food is even cheaper.
They occasionally have special theme nights, too. This Thursday, the 22nd of October, for instance, they are having a Curry Night, with an all you can eat buffet for €15. If you are interested in that, phone 99683050 to reserve a table.
I know I am not alone in liking this place. When I mentioned it in the third Polis beach blog, people commented how much they liked it as well. So it is important that we do support these places. We will want them when the virus has buggered off again, or we have learned to live with it, or whatever. So it is important that we support them now.

Polis Beaches Part 3
In the final part of our look at the beaches along the north coast of Paphos, we travel from Pomos to Polis, finishing up with a slap-up meal at our favourite kebab joint. If you want quieter beaches in beautiful surroundings, then this area will not disappoint. We visited these beaches more times than was strictly necessary to make this blog, which shows that we have saved what we consider to be some of the best Paphos beaches to last. The Letymbou Tavern
Village taverns are one of Cyprus' hidden jewels. So when somebody on our chat group was asking for the best ribs in Paphos, we immediately responded with Letymbou Tavern. But then it hit us. We hadn't been there since before Lockdown. We couldn't recommend a place we hadn't eaten in for that long. So with that in mind, we set off for Sunday Lunch. I was honour bound to have the ribs to check they were still my favourite.Good Pages To Visit
