Pizza Options

Both wife and daughter do like the pizzas though. A small one is plenty for one person.

This is the final page I will show, thought there were drinks etc as well. Note that they do have veggie options.

Anyway, enough of the preamble. What's the food like?

Mixed Grill

This was my mixed grill. You get a big selection of meat, as you would expect. From memory there was souvlaki, chicken breast, sheftalia, lountza, and spicy sausage. There is also some halloumi and grilled vegetables. A special mention to the chips; they are lovely here. You also get plenty of salad.

Sheftalia

Our daughter opted for the Pork Souvlaki / Sheftalia combo, but asked them to replace the souvlaki with halloumi. They were happy to do this. Her's also came with the salad and fries. Have to say, I think she might have got more chips than me...

Jumbo Pork Chop

Alex surprised me and went for a jumbo pork chop. This is why there is no picture of a pizza. I could hardly order my wife to have a pizza instead, and there was no way I was missing out on my mixed grill. So you will have to make do with a Jumbo Porkie instead.

This too was delicious. I know this because Alex swapped a bit of her pork with me for my grilled vegetables. Result, eh?

Polis Beaches Part 3

In the final part of our look at the beaches along the north coast of Paphos, we travel from Pomos to Polis, finishing up with a slap-up meal at our favourite kebab joint. If you want quieter beaches in beautiful surroundings, then this area will not disappoint. We visited these beaches more times than was strictly necessary to make this blog, which shows that we have saved what we consider to be some of the best Paphos beaches to last.

The Letymbou Tavern

Village taverns are one of Cyprus' hidden jewels. So when somebody on our chat group was asking for the best ribs in Paphos, we immediately responded with Letymbou Tavern. But then it hit us. We hadn't been there since before Lockdown. We couldn't recommend a place we hadn't eaten in for that long. So with that in mind, we set off for Sunday Lunch. I was honour bound to have the ribs to check they were still my favourite.
