The Call of Choulou - Part 2
The Chapel Of The Holy Cross
And here we are outside the little chapel. It would be rude not to go in.
Church Interior
I don't know if this is a work in progress or what? It didn't seem like it was in active use.
Choulou View
I am at the top of the hill though, so may as well finish with some panoramic shots of the area. This photo shows Choulou in all its glory. It is a lot bigger than you might think.
Lemona View
This is the nearby village of Lemona.
The Road To Letymbou
You can see all the almond blossom in this shot. Once I get back to the car I shall be headed in that direction, through Letymbou and back to our home in Polemi. I hope you have enjoyed our look at Choulou. We will be visiting more villages in the future, as they are all full of charm. Paphos has so much more to offer than some beaches and an Archaeological Park.

In the second half of my recent excursion into the wet Paphos countryside, I go valley hopping through Xeros and Ezousa, become re-acquainted with an abandoned village, and end up scrabbling through mud at a waterfall I hadn't seen before, tucked away behind the church in Choulou.Good Pages To Visit
