Petradaki Taverna

Soon after the Farm we arrive at Petradaki Taverna. It is on the left of the main road. Though I haven't eaten at any of the taverns, I have to say that this one had the nicest smells emanating from it. Mind you they all smelled pretty fantastic.

Nice View!

Kathikas isn't just about taverns though. On one side you have the Akamas in all its glory. But you would make a mistake if you were exploring the area and only went there. Be sure to take time to appreciate the countryside above Pano Akourdaleia as well. It is full of surprises.

EOKA Monument

There is a small monument here to the EOKA fighters who died in the Struggle for Independence in the 50s.

Fytos Souvlaki

Yes its another tavern, and Fytos Souvlaki offers takeaways as well. The kebabs here are highly recommended. I would add a link to their website or Facebook page, but they don't appear to have one. Anyway, let's turn around and take the High Road into Kathikas.

Mezhn Tavern

On the way to the centre of Kathikas you will pass the Mezhn Tavern as well as a Winery.
