After the courts you come across an area which looks like it might be used for Boules or Petanque.

We've now reached the far end of the park. Are there plans for it to go further, or to link up with a rumoured future coast path running all the way from Paphos?

This bridge certainly means business. During the summer, bridges like this may seem like overkill, as the river they span is always dry and full of weeds and boulders. However, when we have a wet winter it is not uncommon for smaller bridges to be washed away as the deluge washes down from the hills and overflows the banks. It is an amazing sight, and explains the size of this one.

To our right, a faint track continues towards some cliffs. I shall explore that another day though. Given the fact that there are cliffs there, with villas on top, I imagine any proposed path would have to head inland for a time anyway. I should also stress that I have never heard anything official about a proposed coast path in that direction. It is all gossip, which in the past has proven to be not very reliable. So take these speculative words with a pinch of salt.

If you instead follow the bridge, you come upon a little beach, with a new bar beside it, still under construction.
