The Xeros River Flows!

Alternate Route

Or, you can just drive down the B6 towards Kouklia, and turn right at the substation. We didn't attempt this route, as we thought it would be flooded. Later, on our way home, we approached it from the opposite direction, and were surprised to see that it wasn't flooded at all. So the quickest route is actually this one.

Beyond The Motorway

However you decide to cross the motorway, you should eventually be able to see this.

Boring Bridge

Have to say, the B6 bridge was more interesting than this.

Anyway, beyond the bridge, the river opens out. There is a lot of nature here.

As we approached this concrete structure, we couldn't help but notice the amount of herons that were flying about.
