The Xeros River Flows!
Head of Wheat
Time for one last closeup from Alex...
Old Camper
Near the front of the desalination plant there was this old caravan. I don't remember that the last time we visited. Is it for the farmer during summer?
Overgrown Entrance
Wow, in 18 months, that entrance is now really blocked.
The Xeros Appears!
We were able to link up with the Xeros again, just before it reached the sea.
End Of The Line
And there you have it. The Xeros is flowing all the way to the sea. Over recent decades this only seems to happen about once every seven years. Before the dam was built, however, it would have been an annual event. This is why, when the reservoir overflowed, there was a riverbed waiting for it. Nature remembered.
