Troodos Winter Wonderland
Back To The Carpark

And that was that. I made it back to my car, and I was very glad to see it. All that remains for me to do now is to share links to the films I recorded.

Drone Footage
The first film shows the drone footage I recorded, set to relaxing music.
Drive Time 1
The second film shows the drive from Troodos Square to the resort and back.
Drive Time 2
This film goes from the resort to Prodromos. For some reason I decided to get back to Polemi via Kykkos Monastery. I filmed the entire trip (and boy does that go on and on), but a lot of the footage is rubbish because I was driving into the sun. So I may just scrap the lot or produce some edited highlights. But the bit from the resort to Prodromos did include a fair amount of snow so that was worth salvaging.
Troodos Snowscape Tour
I haven't yet publicised the final film, so, as a reward for making it through all eight pages of the blog, you get to see it first. It is a walking tour, and the film version of the blog you have just read, with a bit more drone footage. There is some narration in it, and some background music when my breathing got too heavy. I hope you like it.
And on that note, HAPPY NEW YEAR!

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
