Nautical Christmas

They don't generally go overboard on Christmas Decorations down at the Sea Front. Mind you, given how windy it can get, I can fully understand this. This boat is pretty much the centrepiece.

Harbour Walkers

We're heading into the main harbour area now. I want to make a note of all the tour boats. That way, when they get filmed for future content, I will be able to add a commentary and tell you what they are.

No Tours Today

As there was a gale blowing, none of the tours were going out today. I'm not going to show you pictures of all of them, but I included this one as my sister booked them for a glass-bottom tour a few months ago. Coincidentally, it was cancelled because of bad weather. She was issued a full refund immediately without any quibble whatsoever, so I know from close experience that they are trustworthy. I have no reason to doubt that any of the other cruises aren't though. So please don't think they are.

For more information on the tours operating out of the harbour, check out the Viator Website. It is run by the people who run TripAdvisor. Importantly, you can search for tours by date. So if you are coming in two weeks and want to know what tours are available, have a look there. You can book online with price guarantees etc. You can also read reviews to get a better idea of what to expect.

Pelican Restaurant

Next to the tour jetty you will find the Pelican Restaurant, as well as Theo's and Kings on the other side.

Here's Henry!

And after the Pelican you come to Steve's Restaurant, to be greeted by the ever cheerful Henry.

Stormy Seas

Paphos took a bit of a battering over Christmas. The storms were relentless and nature put on a display the match of any New Year's Eve pyrotechnics. Once the dust had settled, we took our cameras out for a spin. This is the blog of the film we published a couple of days ago...
