The Chloraka Coastline From Above
Distant Hotel
The coastline here probably explains why Paphos has a reputation for not very good beaches. It is an undeserved reputation, if you know where to look, but in this area they have a point. It is great for snorkelling but you aren't going to spend the day here sunbathing, are you?
King Evelthon Beach Hotel and Resort
This helps explain why the King Evelthon hs its own waterpark attached. I believe non-residents can get a day-pass to the park, too.
Distant Paphos
I shall leave you with a shot of Paphos, and its new towerblock, providing an excellent landmark. Just below the tower you can see a stretch of sand. That is Venus Beach. We will get there soon enough, but if you are staying in Chloraka and want a decent sized beach, your two nearest options will either be that or Sandy Beach, in the opposite direction. Oh, there is also the beach at St George's Hotel. And if you are feeling adventurous, you can track down the smaller ones we featured in this article.
I shall leave you with a couple of films I made while flying the drone.
