Sodap Beach Update
Lots of Sand

From this angle, you can see that there is still a lot of beach for people to sunbathe on. Currently, there are no sunbeds, but in the summer time, they were out, and socially distanced to boot.

Slightly Different Angle

This is the same view, from the coastal path.
Work In Progress

Obviously they aren't finished yet, but it's coming on...
The Usual View

This is the view that is normally shown. From this angle, it does look like a lot of the beach has been built on. But that is only because you can't see the sand on the other side. So have no fear, there is still plenty of sand there.
Happy New Year!

I am often asked why I never appear in my shots. The answer to that is simple - I am taking them. However, as a New Year treat, here is a picture of me getting angry with my camera.
2020 has been tough for all of us. But we have made it through, so let's all look forward to a better 2021. Have a great time celebrating tonight. As you can't go out, celebrate with you family in doors. Be happy that you are still here. Count those blessings, and all that.
We shall see you in 2021.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
