The Paphos Coast In Winter
The winter weather in Paphos can make for some invigorating walks along the Coast Path. I recently took the cameras out to see what the wind had blown over. When the rains inevitably arrived I checked out a few new features on my way home. Come and see what I found...
St Nicholas Church
I began my adventure at St Nicholas Church. I had planned on doing a film inside, but it was locked. A lady who also couldn't get in suggested it might be locked because of the bad weather. Normally it is open though.
Inside
Fortunately I did a virtual tour of the interior a while ago, so you can see what it is like.
Pioneer Beach Hotel
As I couldn't go into the church I had a look around outside instead. I headed over to the coast path that runs all the way to Paphos Castle.
Slippery When Wet
It is worth noting that when it rains, this path gets quite slippery.
Hotel Renovations
Traditionally the winter months are when new coats of paint are added to the hotels, and repairs are done. I could see signs of renovations here. You can see how windy it was getting here.
