Kato Paphos In March
Sofianna Resort

At the start of Bar Street, the Sofianna Resort has been recently renovated. I believe they have added extra rooms to give more sea views. It looks lovely, and re-opened at the beginning of March.

Here's what the hotel looks like through the eyes of our drone.
Boogie Time

Walking up Bar Street, I feel obliged to mention Boogies. They are open all year round. In a recent film I wrongly stated that Flairs was the only club open all year round. I was politely corrected, and was happy to put the record straight in a later recording.
Flairs Are In Fashion

Of course, if I am plugging Boogies, it would be rude not to mention Flairs as well.
New Kid On The Block

And, big news, there is a new bar open on Bar Street. The Marika and Me Lounge Bar opened its doors on the 15th March. You can find them next to the closed Notorious Club. Hopefully their hard work will inspire other people to refurbish some of the other abandoned clubs in the area.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
