Kato Paphos In August
On sunday we had an hour to kill before The Mall opened, so we popped in to visit some of the beaches and the harbour. Here's what we found...
So this was a Sunday morning, just after 10AM. We had got down to The Mall bright and early and didn't know the shops opened at 11AM on Sundays. We could either drive back to Polemi and drive straight back again, or occupy ourselves for an hour. I suggested checking out a few beaches. We started at Geroskipou Beach, by Riccos Bar.
And there's the aforementioned bar. It is an integral part of the Geroskipou Beach landscape.
St Nicholas Chapel
We then drove down to St Nicholas Chapel. It was looking as lovely as ever.
Beyond the artificial reef there were a few waves breaking. The waters by the beach were very calm though. The chapel is behind us now.
A Handy Map
Here's a map of the area, showing where all the pictures were taken. This would have been a lot more useful if I had remembered to number the pictures. So in their absence, I will add some pointers. Photo 7 is Pachyammos Beach. Photo 12 is the SODAP Beach. Photo 16 is the Sea front. Photo 19 is the harbour. Finally, 23 is the Mall.
