What We Miss
Pumpkin House

We miss Evi and Pumpkin House. And not just Pumpkin House. People are missing all the artisan craft shops dotted around the place. Like The Place, also in Old Town, and a multitdue of other establishments. If you own one of these, I can assure you that your customers are just as eager to visit you as you are for them to visit.

Old Town
Lots of people are missing Old Town. Here is a film we made last year of a walk around the area. It isn't sped up, so it takes a little over 20 minutes to watch in full. Have you got a pressing engagement to stop you watching?
Foinikas

This year I wanted to get some more shots of Foinikas when it turns yellow. Not this golden yellow, but bright, spring yellow. Unfortunately, that will have happened during the lockdown, so I will have to wait until next year. I miss all the abandoned villages though. There's something about them I can't quite put my finger on. Perhaps it is potential energy?
Venetian Bridges

Few people get to see this little beauty. You can find it near to Archimandrita. The more well known examples are very popular with the safari tours. You will see our film on them on the next page...
The Archaeological Park
Unfortunately, the Archaeological sites are remaining closed until June. Still, if you are pining for them, and this little tour isn't enough, you should visit our 400+ location virtual tour.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
