Large Cypriot Pot

There was a whole room full of artifacts from Cyprus including a six-foot-tall pot.
Artifacts From Cyprus

For our return trip to Cyprus we needed a rapid antigen test within 24 hours of takeoff and we had this done at a nearby French Pharmacy it cost €29 each, against the €5 charge here in Cyprus, and were given paper certificates for our flight home. Additionally, we had to complete the Cyprus Flight Pass, I filled one in and once this was approved was able to add our daughter as an additional passenger. I was able to download these onto my phone as I didn’t have access to a printer.
More Artifacts From Cyprus

Our return journey started with a coach journey back to Beauvais, again all EUDCC passes were checked, and masks were being worn. The coach was again very full, but a nice French gentleman moved so I could sit next to our daughter – Merci Monsieur.
Our EUDCC passes and flight pass were not checked at Beauvais just our passports, which were stamped again, and our boarding cards. The aeroplane was again about half full, so we had a set of 3 seats between us. Once again, the staff on the flight were very professional and helpful, coping with a few passengers who kept taking off their masks and standing up when the seat belt sign was lit.
Peyia And Coral Bay From The Air

When we arrived at Paphos airport a member of staff led us to a room in the terminal where we had to show our flight pass and have a PCR test, at a cost of €19 each. Then we were guided to passport control prior to seeing the border guards a member of staff checked our recent antigen certificate and EUDCC/Safe Pass then we showed our Passports and residency permits. I was welcomed home and the passports were NOT stamped!
From leaving the plane to getting in Dominic’s car took no more than 20 minutes, excellent well organised process Cyprus. Our PCR results were texted to us about 6 hours later, but we also had a receipt with website details where we could check the results if needed.
Our final task will be an antigen test for our daughter after 72 hours, I do not need one as I have had 3 vaccination doses. Yes, it was a lot of testing and paperwork but honestly the whole system is so slick now that it was easy to complete and great peace of mind. So, get your travelling hats on and book those holidays.
