The Grey Cliffs of Paphos - Part 3
Smart Operation
I've seen a number of dig sites around Cyprus, and this is one of the neatest and most well maintained.
Sheltered Area
This was the closest I got to the site, so I have no idea if anything is in the shadows under that roof. I like the brick weights they have used to keep it secure.
End Of The Line
And that's as far as I could get. I was about to go back to the car but I got a call from Alex. She was able to pick up our daughter so I didn't have to worry. This meant I could also explore that cliff I had walked by earlier.
One Final View
So I took one more shot, and started to head back.
Interesting Wall
Next to the dig site there is a wall. I wonder how old it is? The developers had to down tools while they archaeologists performed their dig. So I doubt this will be here for much longer. Or perhaps they will turn it into a feature? It would certainly make a nice centrepoint for a shared garden.
