A good way for tourists to get to the Blue Lagoon by land is in an ATV. Be prepared for some dust though!

The Road Home

As I said earlier, the track home has been smoothed quite a bit since our last visit. It is still very bumpy in places though, so leave your regular car at home.

As you drive back, you will come across several plateaus. When you do, be sure to find a safe place to park and take some time to enjoy the view.

There is something magical about The Blue Lagoon, and it is well worth a visit. As you can see from our final shot, by the time we had set off for home, some more boats had arrived. So if you want the place to yourself, come as early in the day as possible.
