The Route To Episkopi
If you want to try this route yourself, all I can say is bring a shovel.
Sunny Episkopi
So we headed back to Episkopi, and took the first turning up to the village. This one takes you to the nature trail, if you are trying to follow along. I came this way as it gives us some nice vantage points to take pictures. This shot shows the lower part of the village.
Episkopi Rocks
This picture shows Episkopi's famous rock, in the background, with the church nestled on its right hand side. In the foreground, the blossom is out in force.
Contrasts
I like this scene. The contrasting colours appealed to me.
Rocky View
We are a bit closer to the rock now, so can get a better view of it.

On Saturday we went for a drive through the Paphos Countryside, to take in some nature. We had primarily set out to photograph blossom, but got distracted on the way by the floral displays which Paphos has an abundance of at this time of year.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
