Still Bumpy

While you are no longer going uphill you should still keep an eye out for boulders and potholes.

Stick To The Road

They have obviously had problems with ATVs driving all over the place. To counteract this they have erected lots of bollards, which is fair enough.

Distant Lighthouse

In this sidecam view you can see the lighthouse on the centre left of the picture. If you want a fun drive, go and visit that. The route is not for the faint hearted.

Enjoy The View

The bumps do eventually subside, but it is a long way from Blue Lagoon to Smigies Picnic Area, which is where we are headed. The coast road is a lot quicker.

Stay On The Main Track

There are a number of viable junctions along this route. Ignore any that are signposted Peyia. One track crosses the Akamas and joins the southern coast, before passing Lara Bay and arriving at Agios Georgios and Peyia. It is a nice journey, but not something we are doing today.
