Routes To The Blue Lagoon
The Route From Above
Another drone shot. It isn't 100% relevant but it is a lovely picture.
The Blue Lagoon
As you can see, they are packing the boats in at the lagoon. To take the route back, we actually drive past here, and head inland.
At The Lagoon
The sand has returned here. A couple of years ago, the sand on the little beach here was washed away in a storm. It has since returned. We prefer using this little area to launch a snorkelling expeditions from. Further around is where all the boats go.
Buggy Buggers
Most of the vehicles you see here are ATVs. I guess they must be fun to drive but they don't half kick up a dust storm.
Through The Farm
As I said, we drove past the Blue Lagoon then doubled-back. The track goes through a farm, before ascending a steep, bumpy hill.

The Blue Lagoon is one of the jewels in Cyprus' glittering crown. Whether you arrive by boat, or take the bumpy ride that hugs the Akamas cliffs, a scene of beauty awaits you when you get there. It's such a nice place that we can't do it justice in a blog, so this forms part of a bigger presentation, featuring films and a virtual tour.
