Quiet Coastline

Beyond Ayia Thekla, the drone flew over a number of much quieter beaches. I imagine in August that these will be populated by Cypriots fleeing the cities to hit the seaside. A lot of businesses (beyond those relating to tourism) close in Cyprus for August.

Ayia Thekla Beach

A couple of years ago we went for a swim at Ayia Thekla Beach. I say swim, but it was mainly a snorkel. There wasn't a lot to see though. If you want a decent underwater experience head to Cape Greco. There are a lot of places there, like the Canyon. Also, the Musan Beach on the outskirts of Ayia Napa has an underwater sculpture park. And there are more statues in the water near Green Bay Protaras.
