One option was souvlaki. You can't go wrong with souvlaki.

The usual, simple side salads were also available.

Tinfoil Surprise

You could also have the equally traditional Kleftiko. It is currently hiding in tinfoil.

If you've never had kleftiko, it is delicious. Slow cooked lamb, goat or mutton, which falls off the bone, and is served with potatoes. Don't expect any mint sauce though!
