Swimming Area

Behind the restaurant you will find the swimming and changing area. Diving off the ledge here is a popular pass-time. During busy months I refrain from walking through there with the camera, out of respect for people's privacy.

Tea For Two

Officially I think, there is still a one way system in place behind Paps supermarket. However, do not be surprised if you find a car coming at you from the opposite direction. I don't think many people know for sure at the moment what the correct route is. Indeed, if you follow the signs through Kato Paphos it is possible to end up in an eternal loop, unless you ignore a no entry sign. So take your time, and don't get worked up if somebody goes the wrong way. It will all be finished soon.

If you are on foot, what better way to watch the traffic than by enjoying a drink or brekkie at Tea For Two? It looks like all the repairs to the building are now complete.

A Better Way?

Actually, one better way might involve stopping at Pingouino's for a bite to eat or drink. Their food is lovely, and if you have a gluten free member in your party this is possibly the best place in Paphos to take them, as they have a separate GF menu, and know how to prepare the food safely.

You can see Pingouino's in the previous picture, in the top right. And while I am here, if you see that no entry sign in the bottom right of this picture, well it gets ignored more often than not, so bear that in mind if you are coming from the direction of Geroskipou.

Seafront Stroll

In our last article which featured the Sea Front, somebody commented on the cars. It's actually a good point. The area is supposed to be pedestrianised. Perhaps there is a system in place like they have in Old Town, whereby cars are allowed before 9AM, or thereabouts? Given that they are parked right in front of the Police Box, I can only assume that they are legally allowed to be there.

That must be a nice place to stay for your holiday. You can watch the world go around as you sip your morning coffee and plan the day's adventures.
