Paphos Seafront Kataklysmos Celebrations
Strange Attractors

Another harbour staple is the caricature artist. The universal appeal of Mr Bean never ceases to amaze me. Especially when you consider how long it was since a new Bean aired. Mr Bean is everywhere though. I remember travelling in remote parts of Vietnam and Thailand, and seeing Mr Bean played on a portable black and white TV in a tiny bar. I guess there are advantages to silent movies!

Cyprus Delights

We have now arrived at the larger stalls. Munchies are available on several stands.
Challenge

More Snacks

Now, the festival runs for nearly all of the Sea Front, and there is a fair amount of repetition in stalls. So I am not going to photograph every one, or we will be here all night. So I have published a selection of shots from the length of the walkway.
Soutzoukos

These sweets are made from Grape Juice and almonds. They are immensely popular in Cyprus, but I prefer the similarly popular peanut brittle.
