Paphos Harbour Walkway
Shade Point Flower Combo

This flower was created for an exhibit in the Pafos2017 celebrations. That was a good year to be in Paphos, and it meant that when we were first starting out (established 2016!) we had a lot to report on. If you are puzzled by the angle of this shot it is because we are standing on the platform.

Instagram Generation

These shade points provide great photo opportunities for those who like to take selfies.

Here you can see the viewing platform in more detail. You also get a nice view of the castle and the distant tower.
Potable Water?

I saw a number of taps along the path, but nothing to indicate whether they dispensed drinking water or not.
Another Exhibit

There's another statue here to appreciate. Oh and note the bin on the right of the picture. These are placed at regular intervals along the walkway, and clearly get emptied.
That's a good point actually. Whenever I go on my early morning walks along the Sea Front, I always see a cleaner doing their rounds and emptying the bins. May I just say what a stonkingly good job they do. Amongst the praise I see on Social Media for the area, its tidiness is one of the most common themes. So full marks to all involved.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
