Paphos Harbour October Update

Walkway View
There were a fair number of joggers on the new walkway now, as well as several families taking in the scenery. Fishermen too were out and about. It has really come along nicely.
A New Addition?
Looking along the walkway I could see a new structure had appeared. I wonder what it is?
Cue The Drone
They are obviously building another viewing platform here.
Further Up
Out of curiosity I flew the drone further up the walkway. I wanted to see if they had done any more work at the Point. It looks pretty much the same though.
Parting Shot
So there you have it. They must be nearly finished here now, and it is already looking great. Aphrodite is back, in a better location, and if you hurry you can still get some seafood.

MapPaphos Harbour October Update
The walkway between Paphos Castle and the Lighthouse Beach reopened a few weeks ago, but they are still doing some work at the Harbour end. This morning we popped down to see how they were getting in, and got a nice surprise.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
