Doukani

According to this sign, it is part of a Doukani. I had no idea what that is so I googled it. Unfortunately, the name is also used by an online B2B marketplace in the UAE. So the results were polluted somewhat. However, searching "doukani tool cyprus" gave more information: "Doukani is used for thrashing barley. It was driven by oaks or mules."

I think they meant oxen or mules, but you get the idea.

There was a nice cart here too. I imagine it would have been a rather bumpy ride though.

Multiple Finds

The next room seemed to contain a veritable jigsaw of pieces of broken crockery. They must find lots of this sort of item on their archaeological digs. There's only a certain amount of it you can store for historical purposes. If you walk around the slopes of Agios Georgios Harbour, away from the main drag, you will see lots of smaller bits of pottery like this.
