Paphos Coast Path - The Missing Link
The Bottom Line

So, if you want to get from Sandy Beach to Kissonerga without going on the main road, you need to take the rocky route.

The Hardest Bit

If you do so, then the good news is that the trickiest bit is right at the start. If you can make it over this rock then you can do the whole thing without issue (other than a possible booty).
Rocky Beauty

Have to say I was having a lot of fun leaping over these rocks. The years just rolled away. Also, the allergic reaction had not yet hit me!
Possible Booty

The booty will happen when you cross the entrance to this storm drain. It is a big pipe too. And deep within it some very ominous sounds could be heard. It sounds like the moving rocks you hear under a bridge in a mountain stream that is about to burst its banks.
This Way

Once you have crossed the drain, the route requires careful footwork but is easily doable. Obviously it is not wheelchair friendly, but you would have found that out at the start of this article anyway.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
