Paphos Beaches And Restaurants - After Lockdown
Empty Spaces
Apparently, this place gets busy on a sunday. If you want to avoid the crowds, go on a weekday then. If you change little parts of your routine it is possible to live a near-normal life at the moment. Not only that, but the restaurant owners and workers will love you, for helping to flatten their customer curve.
Castle Close-Up
So, in answer to a question that has popped up on our Paphos Chat Facebook Group, some of the restaurants are open, and you will be able to get something to eat and drink.

Past the Archaeological Park
The coastal park continues past the castle towards Kissonerga. I plan on filming this route soon. To the right of this park is the Archaeologial Park. This is now open again. If you arrive in Paphos and don't know what to do, go here first. It is a wonderful place.
Quick Park Tour
At the start of the year we put a lot of work into building a virtual tour of the Archaeological Park. The full tour had over 3000 images, but we concentrated mainly on the highlighted tour you can find in the link below. It was a shame that the pandemic arrived and forced the parks to close, but as I said, they are now open again.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
