Oreites Wind Farm
Caught in the Moment

I'm afraid I got a bit trigger happy at this point, and took rather a lot of photos of the view.

I think this was my favourite one. It just goes to show that you don't always need blue skies or lightning for a lovely scene. Sometimes you just need to look around...
Speaking of Lightning...

On our way back from Dora and beyond, we again passed the wind farm. The weather was deteriorating.
Trouble Brewing

I think it is safe to say that the turbines were about to get rained on. We drove through that and we are happy to report that is also unloaded itself over the Asprokremmos Reservoir. We need more of that!
So that was the wind farm. Hope you enjoyed our pictures. We can't be the only people who are actually quite fond of it. And even if you don't like it, you have to admit, it is a great landmark if you are trying to work out where you are.

We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
