Neon Mall Expansion Update
Access All Areas

You can see the new access road here. I don't know if traffic will flow both ways, but it will definitely let people in. The roundabout will be up by MacDonalds at the existing entrance, I think.
One final anecdote on Canary Wharf. I can vouch for this snippet from Wikipedia:
Both Reichmann brothers were strongly religious Haredi Jews, and shut down their construction sites for the Jewish Sabbath and for all Jewish holidays. Even while the success of O&Y made them one of the world's richest families, they continued to live relatively austere lives.
I remember the site had to close early on Friday, so that all the workers could get home in time for Sabbath. Of course, this meant that the pubs in the area were full to bursting every Friday afternoon. In fact, owing to the amount of fights, a lot of them started closing on Friday afternoons. Before that though, you would often find the DLR had to close because a drunken brickie had got bored of waiting and was walking down the line to Tower Gateway. Those were the days...

Nice to see that there are plenty of loos onsite as well. Somewhere a beancounter will have worked out the optimum amount of portaloos needed to minimise downtime due to pee breaks. It is amazing where efficiency improvements can be made in big projects.

Landscaping hasn't been forgotten about either. The expansion will certainly look the part.

In the Press, the Completion Date given for the project was the first quarter of 2025. In all honesty I shall be very surprised if that happens, but who knows? Cali Resort in Coral Bay was able to confound most people's expectations and open more-or-less on time, so perhaps the Construction Company can pull off the same thing here?
Concrete Core

I shall leave you with a shot of what I am presuming will be the central lift shafts. Whenever they finish, I wish the project every success, and hope they also develop the roundabout speedily. Otherwise access will be an even bigger issue. As the Mayor is fond of saying, Paphos is changing! It is certainly fun watching it mature.
