Museum Of Templar Ages
Templar Strongholds
I mentioned Foinikas to the lady and she pointed it out on this map. In case you didn't know, Foinikas is an abandoned village near Paphos, on the banks of the Asprokremmos Reservoir. In a few days I shall publish some pictures of it, as I wnet there this week with Alex.
Foinikas
Here is a teaser of that article. It shows the reservoir with the village on the banks. The Templar portion is closest to the water.
Back To The Museum
As well as the information signs, there are a fair number of pictures and heraldic drawings on display.
The Chivalric Code
It would be good if we all tried to abide by this code:
Be honest
Respect your promises
Do not engage in idle talk
Accpt the consequence
Take responsibility for your actions
Be brave and don't back down
Be protective of your dignity
Protect the weak
Do not do evil
Act, do not look for excuses
Look for knowledge and values, manifest them in real life
Respect the heroes of the past, let them be your guiding lighthouse
Remember that someone looks up to you like to a lighthouse as well
Nobility is in the heart, not in the coat of arms
Respect the freedom and choices of others
Do not be afraid to make mistakes, learn from them to not make them again
Let your heart be full of love and mercy
Do not judge by the words, judge by the fruit of one's action
Do not lose youorself, help others find themselves
Do not waste your time on senseless things
Create, make the world a better place
Beyond The Main Event
There is more to the museum than just the one room. If you go trhough an arch you will find more areas and even a target range for kids to practice with bows and arrows.
