Paphos Municipal Park Renovations
From Above

You can see what I mean more clearly from above. Image that that is a scale model of a rocky outcrop. Now, that in itself would be a bit quaint, but so what, you might ask?
Well, the thing about the rocks near Kritou Tera, is that when it rains, they are transformed into a stunning gleaming waterfall, as the rain cascades over the multi-layered craggy terrain.

So, imagine this with water cascading over it! If you look carefully, or watch the film, you will see the infrastructure has been put in place to make it possible. So who knows?
More Water

There is another water feature further down into the park too. I hadn't noticed this fountain before now.
Jacaranda

I took a picture of this lovely purple tree while I was here, but it doesn't really do the Jacaranda justice.
Town Hall

I'll finish with a shot of the town hall. Remember, for more coverage, see our film on the Municipal Park Water Feature.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
