Just about everybody we saw out and about today was taking photographs. The road was busier than this image suggests, though it was closed to traffic.

They definitely made the right choice to cancel the celebrations.

Lighthouse Beach

We were going to continue down the coast some more. However, when we got to the Lighthouse Beach the heavens opened up again and showed no signs of abating, so we called it a day.

We will publish a film of what we saw later on today. Two in fact, as we will do a separate one for the reservoir.

If you are here on holiday please don't get too discouraged. The weather forecast shows fine weather from Wednesday onwards, and you will be amazed at how quickly Paphos dries up once the sun comes out.
