Martiri Bridge
The Old Road

The track from where we left the car only goes a couple of hundred metres before turning back on itself. It then soon ends, and you can see where a bulldozer has been pushing rubble fairly recently. However, if you look to your left, you will see this much older track, leading into the woods. Go that way.

Bridge Ahoy!

Very soon you will come to a bridge. You will also hear the sound of running water.
Meet Martiri Bridge

This is the bridge from the other side. Ok, it doesn't look much, but trust me, you are in for a treat.
The Bridge From Above

And here is a view of the bridge from above, courtesy of our drone. The car is parked just above the top of the picture, and you can see the track we just walked down.
Let's Explore

The bridge itself is unusual in that it has no side-rail. If you aren't careful you could walk off the edge, so do keep your wits about you. This design meant that it was easy to go down the side of the bridge though. Interestingly, somebody had recently pruned the shrubs here too. You can see a couple of stumps if you look.
